Was There Something I could have Done?

Was there a way for me to just help you out of the struggle?
To keep you out of harms way?
Was there a way for me to follow you;
To make sure where you were going was okay?
Was there possibly something I could have done;
To prevent this illness that has overcome?
Was there a star in the sky that I could watch fall;
For me to wish upon and help the illness stall?
Was there a way for me to help you;
To get you out of the pain?
Could I have done anything to help you regain;
Your health and your life?
Was there something that could help;
To keep you from getting sick?
Could it have been destiny;
That took you so soon?
Or just this monster that aroused with every full moon?
Was there a way for me to help?
TO keep you here with us.
If there was, it did not fulfill but combust!
Was there a way for me to follow,
To make sure you'd be okay?
Or was it just a time for us to let go,
To go our seperate ways?
I am letting you rest in peace,
Although it burns my soul.
To know that there was nothing,
To keep us from letting go.
The pain was to severe,
And it hurt to watch you slowly go.
But, the pain has disappeared and you're better off;
I hope.
It was a moment that was hard for us all,
But, your life goes on,
Just not here was us on earth.
You're in Heaven where all great ANGELS go.
Watching over us,
Smiling as we go.
There was a way for me to help,
And that was to let go.
To let you rest in peace,
Forever we'll always know.
Your a brave woman and you can stay strong I know.
Because you were a great woman, and you chose when to go.

♥♥I LOVE YOU GRANDMA♥♥R.I.P FOREVER AND ALWAYS!!

Gram,
I remember all the good times. Like when we played cards (uno) and Diane used to get so mad when one of us won and she lost. I loved it when you used to pick on Diane and her facial hair!!It was very funny! that is what I miss the most. Not being able to sit with you and watch the Price is right and not being able to be there when you need me or even to just sit there and chat with you about everything and anything!! I wish you were here with me today just to keep me comfort and to just keep me calm! It was very hard for me to realize that you are gone and aren't going to come back!! I just figured you were sleeping that you would wake up and I would be there to give you a giant hug!! It hurt so bad to get that phone call saying that you had passed. And to think that I didnt even get to say my goodbyes. i know that one day we will see eachother again! I just wish you were able to hold jorgie before you left to go to a more peaceful place!!I know that you are no longer struggling everyday like you were when you were here!! Had I known that you were going to leave when I was in the hospital i would have stayed til that morning!! Gram I didnt want you to go!! If i had it my way you would be here today and wouldnt of had that illness that tortured you! It hurt me to see you struggle and it burned my soul to know that there was nothing I could do!! I love you with all my heart!! I know that you are in HEAVEN now watching over the family making sure that we're okay! Jorgie is one today!! And it hurts me to know that it has been One year since you have left!! I LOVE YOU FOREVER AND ALWAYS! AND IF YOU ARE READING THIS JUST KNOW THAT IT IS OKAY TO SHED THEM TEARS AND SMILE!! WE ARE ALL OKAY AND YOU ARE TO!!  GRAM YOU ARE IN A BETTER PLACE AND YOU HAVE NOTHING TO FEAR!! i LOVE YOU AND ONE DAY WE WILL BE TOGETHER AGAIN!!

I can recall when you always picked on your two best friends Diane,and Kay. It was hilarious just to watch them pick on each other. I can recall all the times when you would lay awake in your bed at night and wait for me to go lay down then ring your bell i got for her in case she needed me for anything,Just to tell me you loved me and you would see me in the morning. All the memories of everything about my mother will live on in me forever.I love you and miss you dearly...May you rest in peace Mother.
